La Garçonne is always spot on. This fashion story transports me to my family's mountain cabin in North Carolina, where I grew up hiking, reading, grilling out and playing in the creek. If only I had these good looking outfits for all my adventures.
This month's releases from Hackwith Design House are some of my favorites yet. I particularly love the Vance Top, Charlie Dress and Joey Tank - all made from a soft linen fabric that is perfectly breezy for summertime. They have Lisa's signature shapes and feminine details that I adore so much. Since these pieces have been in heavy rotation around here, it was fun to shoot them in a darker, more dramatic way. To learn more about Lisa Hackwith, her various creative projects and her Minneapolis design studio, visit the HWD website.
The beautiful new jewelry collection from New York artist Erin Considine launched today, and I love the delicate, feminine feel of the lookbook. The new AW14/Classics collection is near and dear to Erin— "It's an amalgamation of some of my 'greatest hits' of metal pieces from the collections over the last four years, and it feels right that these pieces are paired with a neutral palette - dyes coming from walnut, logwood, iron and also letting the fibers speak for themselves." Willys Detroit has the first batch of jewelry now, and more pieces are trickling into retailers throughout August, or you can pre-order on her site.
